Attending Pratt for Industrial Design I was able to take classes within the fashion department.
As a young man I wanted to become a fashion designer.
In 2017 i USED THIS IN MY appliCATION to a sportswear apparel program at fidm. Applications included creating a DESIGN DECK FOR AN ACTIVEWEAR APPAREL COLLECTION. I RECEIVED AN ACCEPTANCE LETTER at the same time i received an offer from Michael nicholas designs and i decided to take the job.
I still really like these pieces...
Ruk.clothing is an activewear and accessories company I started in Brooklyn, NY. Here are pieces out of a capsule collection from 2014. notably this body of work was modeled by jay critch and other members of tme. All pieces sold out.
